Official: Coutinho signs new long-term deal with Liverpool
Liverpool have confirmed that Coutinho has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with the Merseysiders.
It will come into effect from July 1, 2017.
The Brazil international signed for the Reds in January 2013, arriving from Inter Milan.
He has played 163 games for the club, scoring 34 goals and assisting another 35.
His new contract which will keep him at Anfield until summer 2022.It has been reported that there is no release clause.Coutinho had been linked with Barcelona over the last weeks.
